Two Cosplayers from Anime Mid-Atlantic 2009 in the Dealers' Room.
Anime Mid-Atlantic was an event that I enjoyed in 2007 and decided to go back to. I took this opportunity to test out a new camera that I recently purchased that shoots pictures and HD movies.
This whole section will include new videos from time to time as I edit them and put them together. On this page you’ll find three HD movies currently. The first video presented is a short HD movie short of the event.

Although I spent less time than I did in 2007, I was able to get some pics of the event and shoot a short movie of the event titled “Ota-Drive.”
Steampunk Victorian costume and gear.
Artist doing a portrait of a couple of cosplayers on Saturday.
A lot of goodies for sale at the Dealers Room. Unfortunately I ran out of time before I could get anything. Maybe that's a good thing, since I may have been broke at the end.
Trio of cosplayers at the convention.
A Voltron pilot at the convention.
This time around Mid-Atlantic held the event at the Hampton Convention Center in Hampton, Va. I really liked this venue a bit more than the last place they had it.

Death Note cosplayers rehearsing for an interesting, albeit edgy, skit. This is a screen capture outtake.

Screen capture of Yunmao Ayakawa. Yunmao held a maid panel workshop on Saturday.
All the movies presented are basically me test driving my new camera, the CANON 5D MARK II at the convention. The movies below are centered towards the Cosplayers’ Masquerade rehearsals and Yunmao Ayakawa’s Nihon Maid Association Workshop which were all featured at the convention on Saturday.

I had a great time once again and want to thank everyone who organized the whole thing and came out to participate. Can’t wait for next year!
